Republican Rep. Beth Van Duyne won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Texas on Tuesday. The former mayor of the Dallas suburb of Irving won her third term in Congress.

Democratic Rep. Brendan Boyle won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Pennsylvania on Tuesday. Boyle, 47, was running for a sixth term in his heavily Democratic district in Philadelphia. Boyle beat Republican Aaron Bashir.

WASHINGTON (AP) — With the American electorate so evenly divided, there will be elections in November close enough that officials will have to recount the votes . Just don’t expect those recounts to change the winner.

Republican Matt Gaetz won election to a U.S. House seat representing Florida on Tuesday, defeating Democrat Gay Valimont.

Democratic Rep. Don Beyer won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Virginia on Tuesday. Beyer won his sixth term after defeating Republican Jerry Torres and two independent candidates.

Republican Rep. Earl "Buddy" Carter won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Georgia on Tuesday. Carter, who spent a decade in the state Legislature prior to winning his congressional seat, was first elected to the U.S.

Democratic Rep. Marc Veasey won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Texas on Tuesday. Veasey has served the Dallas-Fort Worth-area district since 2014.

Democratic Rep. Summer Lee won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Pennsylvania on Tuesday. Lee, 36, was running for a second term in her heavily Democratic district based in Pittsburgh. Lee defeated Republican James Hayes.

BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts Democrat Elizabeth Warren won a third term in the U.S. Senate on Tuesday. Warren fended off a challenge from Republican John Deaton , an attorney who moved to the state from Rhode Island earlier this year.
