For the final time this season, the UNBC Timberwolves women's soccer team stepped onto the pitch at Masich Place Stadium on Sunday afternoon against the UFV Cascades during their last home game of the regular season. Sunday's match also marked the final time seniors Julia Babicz, Ashley Volk, and Jenna Wild will wear the Timberwolves colours in front of the home fans. Brittney Zacharuk scored for the Cascades in the 22nd minute and the score stayed that way until some late game heroics from Timberwolves Sofia Jones who stripped the Cascades defender of the ball and popped the ball into the yawning cage past UFV gooalkeeper Jovan Sandhu to tie the game at one in the 84th minute. After three minutes of extra time in the second half the final whistle sounded on a 1-1 draw between the two teams.
