The Prince George Gymnastics Club hosted the Prince George Gymnastics Invitational this past Saturday and Sunday at the gymnastics club facility at Exhibition Park.
220 gymnasts returned to action during the two days of competition with athletes from clubs in Quesnel, Smithers, Cariboo Chilcotin, North Peace, and Dawson Creek joining local gymnasts in the first in-person event in two years for the Prince George Gymnastics Club
During the weekend, the girls took part in Women's Artistic Gymnastics events that featured vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and the floor exercise.
Also taking place over the weekend was the boys Zone 8 Championships and the boys competed in Men's Artistic Gymnastics events that featured the floor exercise, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, and high bar.
