The Recycling and Environmental Action Planning Society's 15th annual Junk in the Trunk sale took place on Saturday starting at 9 a.m. with hundreds of treasure hunters of all ages already milling around the trunks, trailers, and stalls set up for vendors to sell their items.
Junk in the Trunk provides the opportunity for the community to upcycle their items and bargain hunters looking for the perfect piece to buy various things such as kids clothes and toys to auto parts and gardening equipment and everything in-between.
Vendors were also able to donate items that did not sell to the Salvation Army who had trucks on site able to accept donations.
The annual sale is a fundraiser for REAPS who help residents, businesses and institutions reduce waste and make greener choices.
