For the first time in many years, Jonathan Crow played in front of a hometown crowd when he joined the Prince George Symphony Orchestra on stage at Vanier Hall on Saturday night during PGSO Presents Jonathan Crow Comes Home. The evening started off with Marjan Mozetich’s Postcards from the Sky, and that was followed by two pieces by Franz Schubert: Symphony No. 8 Unfinished and Entr’acte from Rosamunde. The highlight of the evening was Crow's hauntingly beautiful performance of Max Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor, Op. 26. Crow has been the Concertmaster of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra since 2011.
