Olympic curlers visit Harwin Elementary School - IN PHOTOS
As part of the upcoming 2020 World Women's Curling Championship, Olympic curlers Tom Brewster and Karri Willms visited the students at Harwin Elementary for learn-to-curl sessions. The students got to learn about curling and got to put what they learned to the test with some floor curling. As a special treat both curlers brought the Olympic medals they won and the kids were able to wear the medals and pose for photos. Willms won her bronze medal with Team Canada in the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France when women's curling was a demonstration sport, and Brewster won his silver medal with Team Great Britain in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
