Huble Homestead was the site of an Old-Fashioned Thanksgiving Celebration on a cool, crisp Thanksgiving Monday. Guests who came out to the historic site for the day's festivities were able to play old-fashioned games, create a scarecrow for the scarecrow making contest, bob for apples, create leaf crafts, take part in a special Thanksgiving treasure hunt, or watch a jam-making demonstration. The usual Huble Homestead activities also took place with guests being able to watch butter and ice cream demonstrations, blacksmith demonstrations, or take part in a site tour. Local band The Ebbs also performed, sending their rhythmic musical sounds across the site.
