The Hart Community Centre kicked off the holiday craft shopping season on Saturday morning with the first day of their Community Winter Market. Twenty-six vendors were on hand selling everything from baked goods, crafts, Christmas items and everything in between. Lunch was also available for purchase featuring soups, salads, and sandwiches. In accordance with COVID-19 protocols shoppers were limited to 50 at a time and were required to wear masks while shopping as well as practice social distancing. Vendors were spaced and separated by pipe and drape. The market runs Saturday til 4 p.m. and again on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Organizers are hoping to hold these Winter Markets for the next seven weekends. Those interested in booking a table for an upcoming market can contact Alice Sigurdson at 250-962-6887.
