The Prince George Cougars defeated the visiting Tri-City Americans by a score of 5-1 on Friday night at CN Centre. The Cougars were wearing special jerseys for the WHL Suits Up to Promote Organ Donation Night. The game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off with proceeds going to the Kidney Foundation of Canada. A special pre-game ceremonial face-off took place prior to the game with Noreen and Rick Woodford, and RE/MAX Centre City Realty owner Zach Mills. The Woodfords lost their son in 2018 and he donated his lungs, both kidneys, and liver to transplant recipients.
