There were about a dozen schools in Prince George that participated in the Sing! Sing! event that took place across Canada on Music Monday, which was created by the Coalition for Music Education in Canada to highlight the importance of music in the classroom. The students at Quinson elementary were among 700,000 students who all simultaneously sang the song Sing! Sing! written by Juno award winner Serena Ryder.
