A Toyota Sienna van was driven through the front doors of Jewellery Direct on the 600 block of Central Street West Wednesday at 3:37 a.m.
Prince George RCMP and Prince George Fire Rescue attended the scene immediately after receiving a report of the break and enter.
A significant amount of jewelry was taken and damages are estimated to be about $50,000.
The silver van bearing BC licence plate 169 PHB was taken from near the University Hospital of Northern B.C. on the 1400 block of Edmonton Street sometime during the night.
The suspect is described as a thin male wearing a black hoodie and dark jeans.
