Badminton player Qingzi Ouyang of Team B.C. prepares to hit a shot during a women's singles playoff game at the Northern Sport Centre on Tuesday. Ouyang defeated Monica Cowper of Alberta in a quarterfinal match but then lost to Brittney Tam of Ontario in the semis. The medal games are scheduled for 9 a.m. Wednesday.
