Province of British Columbia Conservation Officer Todd Hunter removes a tranquilized black bear cub from a shed at Second and Lyon Street Friday at noon. The mother and cub were chased around the neighborhood after being spotted near Quinson elementary school. Residents are advised to remove apples and food from yards in order to avoid attracting bears. There have been more than 40 bears shot in town. The CO emergency number is 1-877-952-7277.
