Maybe it's time to incorporate early childhood education into the school system. For everyone who wants it, maybe school should start a lot earlier than 5.

The public health response to the pandemic required a smart approach taking into account public mistrust and polarization.

The latest mask mandate is wrong, not because it is unscientific or illegal but because it unfairly punishes the majority of British Columbians who have been responsible enough to get themselves fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Giving our children the tools they will need to move the world forward is the greatest and most valuable investment we can make. It is our most empowering and meaningful contribution.

The government we had was pressured to work with the other political parties to address our chronic long-term issues Canadians have lived with for decades.

It is not coal or fossil fuels which will result in the temperature increase but our continued combustion of this ancient carbon.

The most confident and competent people among us, however, are also the best listeners.  They know that their ideas do not define who they are as human beings, that their opinions can change but their intrinsic value does not.

Having spent my career working and owning and supporting family-run businesses, I get the benefits, but I also see the challenges.

You’d be surprised how often we’d check in at a campground only to find the price has changed or they didn’t have our “verbal” booking. If they refuse to send you the email confirmation - big red flag - book somewhere else.
