A year from this month, July 2011, Canadian troops will withdraw from Afghanistan. Is this a good move? It's debatable.

In response to the schoolyard behaviour of a Vancouver FM Station DJ I ask that you publish the following response.

What is happening to the seniors at the North Central Seniors Centre in Prince George is nothing short of elder abuse.

This is a letter of concern and support for the College Heights Seniors (North Central Seniors Club). The decision of School Board 57 to close and board up the resource centre on Gladstone Drive has ousted them from the club meeting place.

This week's hike to Sugarbowl is a Prince George favorite and is usually one of the first hikes that people new to the region attempt. This trail is one of the closest and easily accessible trails to Prince George that ascends to the alpine.

I am writing in response to the editorial "Iggy as Opportunist" that was published on June 25 in The Prince George Citizen.

Dalwhinnie is Gaelic for "plains for meeting" and as it is halfway to Edinburgh from Glasgow it is easy to understand how the town of Dalwhinnie got its name.

The legal attack on the HST petition by business groups is terrible for the Liberals. In fact, when the release announcing the court action showed up in my inbox, I wondered if it was a hoax. It wasn't.
