Brian Skakun like most of us is not a bad person. We elected him because he is a straight shooter. I agree that a rule had been broken, a protocol, the order in which we have learned to behave was upset.

VICTORIA - It's not easy to sort the HST facts from the spinning by both sides in the tax debate. Start with Finance Minister Kevin Falcon's claim that going back to the PST would blow a $3 billion hole in B.C.

Regarding the HST. Their TV advertisement with 25 or more people cackling at once is enough reason for me to vote against the HST. It shows nothing but contempt for the common people that have the audacity to object to their heavy handed-ness.

City council gave themselves a pay raise. Now they go to the Alternative Approval Process for authority to borrow $3 million for the 18th Ave Yard Administration Construction Project.

A recent edition featured a photo of women in Montreal demonstrating. Their point was that women should be able to dress as they like without fear of being attacked. As to the broad point, I agree.

Mr. Skakun, You gambled and lost, taking the credibility of the P.G. council with you. As a taxpayer and long time resident of this community, I have to say that I am ashamed of your performance.
