Today is the one year anniversary of our son's death. Five Canadians were tragically killed in the hotel explosion in Mexico. It has been a roller coaster ride since that day but we have somehow tried to remain strong.

It seems the majority of wine is now bottled with screw caps. Today, two of the wines I feature have screw caps. Some people think it makes the wine less appealing, it's more convenient and no worries of cork taint.

I have lived in Prince George all of my 41 years and am proud to be part of this community. I love dreaming and wondering what a great city this could be if we ever could get the downtown revived.

I appreciate civic politicians who ask hard questions and are well informed about the issues that are important to me as a citizen of Prince George. Snow plowing is very important to me.
