It is with much concern that I write this letter to the editor in response to the recent media publications regarding the recent forest tent caterpillar outbreak. There has been some controversy about using pesticide to control this outbreak.

What a disappointment it has been to watch the stirring events taking place in Britain as our Queen celebrates her Diamond Jubilee, a once in a lifetime event, but not worthy of even a single picture, article or mention in the Citizen.

Keith Donohue's "The Stolen Child" is a fairy tale for adults. Dark but not dismal it's a book with some tension and quite a lot of beauty.
