Trudeaumania is back and the 2012/13 vintage looks to be as potent as the 1968/69 iteration, when all you had to say was "Pierre" and everyone knew who you were talking about.

I just came back from a trip to the Kootenays. I paid as little as $1.21 and as much as $1.29 until I got back to Prince George and had to pay $1.38.9. Why? They make gas here but everywhere else we went, they truck it in. Bill Dwyer Prince George

The John Forgerty concert last Tuesday had to be one of the best Prince George has seen. He was nothing less than fantastic. At 67 he still has his incredible voice that didn't crack or miss a single note.

Clarence and Charlotte Lapp are both now 82 years young and just recently celebrated 60 years of marriage. They both moved to Prince George in the early 1950's. Charlotte arrived in 1950 and worked as a school teacher at Reid Lake.

On Saturday Canada marked the 50th anniversary of the becoming a space-faring nation. Canada launched the Alouette-1 satellite on Sept. 29, 1962, in partnership with NASA, from the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.

The Harper government is focused on what matters to Canadians - jobs, growth and long-term prosperity.

"Double Tap" is what mobsters do when they put somebody down. One bullet in the heart, one in the head. That way they stay down. It's practically standard operating procedure among hitmen. Then there's a different, nastier kind of "double tap".
