I've lived in Prince George since 1962 but what happened to me on Oct. 29 was the most pleasant surprise that I have ever had happen to me. First let me explain. I am 72 years old and physically challenged.

On Monday night city council was invited to attend a Community Conversation on the Core Service Review.

I find it unfortunate that the majority of our councillors will not agree to attend a public meeting once the final core services report is released.

Canada will be witnessing a major deal with a country with little respect to human rights, China. The Foreign Investment Agreement (FIPA) will be signed with little to no understanding of folks in Canada.

A lesson that everyone eventually has to learn as an adult is that you can't have everything in life that you want. Apparently that's a lesson that Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, Michael Vick didn't need to learn.
