This is an edited and updated version of a column that first ran in the Oct. 28, 2005 edition of The Citizen: There's nothing more liberating for a man than dressing up in women's clothes. The hair. The makeup. The nail polish.

We are a week and a bit away from the U.S. election. Over many, many months we have seen election polls that show the "popular votes" in America.

Kids aren't what they used to be, older generations say and there is a growing body of research to support that finding. What those same generations won't say, however, is how they caused the problem that irks them.

I've been noticing a disturbing trend in Prince George dog parks; that of animal abuse. Having recently returned to Prince George, I started to frequent the dog park beside Duchess Park.

In reply to Robert Clayton's letter regarding the AR-15, what do you think the petition was asking for? They were asking that the AR-15 be legal to hunt with. Just like the numerous other semi auto rifles that are available to hunt with.

"Let's make America great again," was the compelling slogan from U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump. It's an intriguing message, suggesting a return to some undefined period of prosperity and general well being.
