I realize that the “thanksgiving theme” is now long past due. Of course, my truancy on this particular submission is well blamed on the incredible fall that we were having.

It takes six to 18 months for the effects of an interest rate increase to manifest in the economy and inflation.  We are six months into a monetary tightening phase and it would appear inflation is receding very, very slowly.

Yet despite the significance of the story on many levels, the CBC remains coyly quiet in their coverage.

Those who talk loudly on cellphones in public places are acting as though others are A) invisible, B) deaf, or C) insignificant, so why not make eye contact, laugh at their jokes and add your own two cents’ worth?
