Thanks to Neil Godbout (editorial "Beyond Hope"), the frustration felt in Prince George and the north by the people of the south was very well put.
We have been at the receiving end by family and through work for years.
Rude comments about living in the north, how awful the snow conditions are and the
mosquitos in summer, and get this, we were told Prince George could not support a WHL
hockey team.
Little do they know we would not trade living here for Vancouver for the world.
The traffic down south is something else. Every morning you look outside to see if any of your neighbors were stabbed or shot last night.
We feel just as negative about the south as they feel about us.
We love the north and everything about it.
