Walk a mile in someone’s shoes before encouraging police violence

Yes, I am the one who submitted that video.

As a matter of fact I have been a victim of vehicle theft. Yes, I was irate. Did anything traumatic happen to the people who took it? No.

Do I honestly feel they deserved it? At the time I probably did wish a few things happened.

However the point of the video has nothing to do with the fact that I knew the "thieves" or that they were in a stolen truck. I knew none of this until after I had given a lawyer a copy of this video.

Whether it had been a complete stranger or someone I knew, the result would be the same. I do not believe that high authority should allow any type of acceptance to law breaking. Not just here but everywhere there are people of higher authority are abusing it.

Excessive violence in any manner is wrong and to justify it is sickening.

Maybe it wasn't breaking the law but to someone else maybe their mistake was life changing.

As a human being, we evolve into smarter and more mature individuals based on the mistakes that we make, mistakes are lessons learned.

We all make mistakes, but it's really how we deal with those errors in judgment and take steps to rectify the situation, that really shows our true character.

Put it this way, a mistake made more then once is a decision and I can say that neither driver nor passenger have ever had charges in relation to vehicle theft. Therefore the criticism of the public makes me wonder.

What might be good for one person may destroy another, do not judge someone by the mistakes they made, you have not felt their emotions or lived a day in their shoes.

Something that might not phase you may be the struggle in the life of another. No one's perfect. I know you're not.
