I read your opinion on Saturday, March 7 with disappointment and not just a little anger, Mr. Godbout. You criticized a very well respected academic whose math skills could obviously blow yours out of the water.
You dumped on an institution that has become a major contributor to research and post-secondary education in Canada and further afield, one whose graduates are proud to call their alma mater. And you trivialized the very legitimate labour concerns of a large group of highly educated and hard working people. When are we going to see an apology from you? One of several disgusted respondents in the online comments asked for your resignation.
In what world would you maintain any journalistic integrity by alienating a third of your readership, and then refuse to either print any rebuttal or address your own comments?
