Letter writer wrong to criticize columnist, Harper

Re: "Giede marks anniversary with uninformed praise of Harper." I found the letter "utterly amusing" as the writer placed Nathan Giede, the columnist in the category of being "uniformed" with such "finality." In his column written in praise of P.M.

I found the letter "utterly amusing" as the writer placed Nathan Giede, the columnist in the category of being "uniformed" with such "finality."

In his column written in praise of P.M. Harper, titled, "Unapologetic Harper", seems to me Nathan has a pretty clear and sharp view of Mr. Harper's performance as P.M.!

It would take some task to get ahead of Nathan Giede's knowledge and facts and he is to be commended for his clarity and honesty of report.

Trudeau did a good job of "covertly" destroying what the majority of Canadians valued as he took down the high standard of this country in the justice system, the military, etc.

Unlike Mr. Giede I am neither too young or uniformed to remember the performance of Trudeau and Chretien or the "dog fights" that took place during their period of time as P.M. If anyone worked under the radar screen of public awareness it was Pierre Elliot Trudeau.

Harper puts them to shame. He handles himself in a calm respectable and informed manner. And as for Young Trudeau, if he and his uniformed advisors can't tell the difference between combat duty and firing back because you're being fired at, he's not ready to head up a government in this country. (I speak of our military assigned in the Northern Iraq a non-combat role).

And the NDP? Forget it! They stand in the way of any progress in matters of any importance as usual.

Do people my age remember? You better believe it.! Harper and his government shoud apologize for what? They've done everything they said they would.
