I am responding to "Fireworks excessive"... and we do not agree.
We loved seeing the fireworks every night from our house and the location on Connaught Hill is a perfect view for everyone in the city. There were lots of people driving to different locations to get a better view which we think is fabulous.
If your pets were bothered by the fireworks, it was only for two weeks lasting no more than 15 minutes each night.
We rarely have them in the city and it sure was appreciated by many residents.
Way to go Starlight FX Fireworks - awesome job! I think this was a great opportunity for us to show athletes and visitors what a great fun friendly city we are. Makes us proud to live here!
