I wish to say a few words regarding the BCWF noise in conjunction with the recent Wildlife Allocation decision by the BC Government.
As a resident hunter, the BCWF does not speak for me or the majority of resident hunters.
I resent to be spoken for by - to me unknown - individuals who appoint themselves as spokespersons for everyone.
The BCWF represents only a small portion of the resident 'hunter' community, I dare say the most radical.
The minister's decision is more than generous with us resident hunters, considering how much game is lost and wasted.
If some BCWF member want access to all game in a certain region, they should save up their money and buy a guiding business.
I still remember the times when a Mr. Sihota of the NDP was Minister of Environment and boldly stated that he would make B.C. the first non-hunting jurisdiction in North America; not one peep was heard from these self-appointed spokespeople.
