If you're driving north on Ospika and you're turning left on the new lights on Ferry, you pull into the left turning lane, there is a problem. If there are vehicles in the opposing left turn lane, you cannot see the oncoming traffic because your line of site is completely cut off, which makes you creep out into the oncoming lane to see any vehicles.
That very dangerous situation is going to lead to a very bad accident at those lights and with the cars speeding up that oncoming hill, it's going to be bad.
The city needs to put a timed left turn signal for both left turn lanes or what happened at the bottom of Peden Hill is going too happen again. cerned for every driver that has to use that left turning lane. The lights are nice for traffic going east or west through Ospika but it's not working for traffic for the left turn lanes. Can't even imagine come winter time when the snow is pilled up at those lights and there will be total lack of vision for anyone.
