Citizen poll result: Should the City of Prince George take back workers put on leave for refusing to be vaccinated for COVID-19?

A small majority of local Prince George Citizen readers voted that the City of Prince George shouldn’t take back workers put on leave and facing termination for refusing to be vaccinated for COVID-19.

A total of 315 local participants (31 per cent) said “no, it’s a small basic requirement for workplace safety,” while another 249 participants (25 per cent) voted “no, it’s not fair to the employees who followed public health orders.”

Meanwhile, 223 participants (22%) voted “yes, requiring employees to be vaccinated isn't fair,” and another 192 participants (19 per cent) voted “yes, restrictions and mandates have ended almost everywhere else.”

There were 23 voters (two per cent) who voted “not sure.”
