1956 - 2024
With great sorrow we announce the unexpected death of Rocky.
Born in Williams Lake, the youngest son of Paul and Mabel Niquidet.
Rocky enjoyed growing up with family and many friends. During his childhood and teens, he loved sports, especially the rowdy games of street hockey in summer and ice hockey in the winter.
In his early twenties Rocky began a 40 plus year career in the building supply business starting as a clerk at Gardner Building Supplies and, through various companies, worked his way up to Manager at Windsor Plywood in Prince George. He was extremely knowledgeable and excelled in every job he undertook.
Rocky met and married Debra in Williams Lake in 1980 and they had two children (Kirstin and Nathan), plus many dogs and cats during their 37 years of marriage. After at least 9 homes and as many moves, their last stopping place was Prince George.
Rocky was known for his love of family, his generous spirit, and his wicked sense of humour.
He was predeceased by his first wife Debra, and his brother Alan. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife Jennifer, daughter Kirstin (Jim), son Nathan (Samantha) and grandchildren Everett, Luke, Claire and Markus. Step children Lisa and Mark, Jason and Carol, grand children Camryn and Carter. Also to mourn his passing is his brother Ian, sister in law Gillian, his wife's numerous family members and his dogs and cat (Terah, Lucy, Mia, and Zoey). All that knew him.
Rocky, we thank you for your love, your friendship and the wonderful memories.
