One man is dead following a single-vehicle accident on Ness Lake Road.
Prince George RCMP were called to the scene at about 2:40 a.m. Saturday to respond to a report of a vehicle which left the road and rolled near the intersection of Swan Road, just outside the city limit boundary.
A lone male was located nearby and first responders administered first aid, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The B.C. Coroners Service was contacted and arrived to continue the investigation.
An RCMP dog team was searched the area for other possible casualties but did not find anyone else connected with the accident. Part of the roadway was closed while investigators tried to piece together how the collision occurred. A police report issued by the RCMP indicated alcohol was not suspected as a factor in the accident.
No details were released on the identity of the man, pending notification of next of kin.
