Prince George RCMP have two suspects in custody following a robbery this afternoon of the Spruce Credit Union downtown.
Called to the scene at 879 Victoria Street at about 1:30 p.m. police, including a service dog and handler, "flooded the area" and two suspects were apprehended within a half-hour, RCMP said.
"It's right down the street from the detachment and they were on it pretty quick," Cst. Jennifer Cooper said. "And they had really good descriptions from the employees in the bank."
Weapons were not involved in the robbery, Cooper said. The two allegedly walked in and demanded cash from the teller.
Their names were not provided.
