One man has been arrested and RCMP are on the lookout for another following the shots fired incident in the VLA early Sunday morning.
Michael Campbell-Alexander, 20, was apprehended Tuesday and remains in custody while an arrest warrant has been issued for Cody Aubrey Lornsten, 31.
Campbell-Alexander faces one count each of attempted murder, discharging a firearm with intent to wound, killing an animal and three other firearms-related charges.
Five charges against Lorntsen have been approved including one count of discharging a firearm with intent to wound.
Lorntsen is described as Caucasian, 175 cm (5'9" inches) tall and weighing 77 kg (170 lbs) with hazel eyes and hort brown hair.
He also has a number of tattoos including one by each eye, on his neck and on each forearm.
Lorntsen is a Prince George resident but is from Quesnel and may have returned to that community, RCMP said.
He is to be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached if seen. Instead, call 911 immediately.
At about 3 a.m. Sunday, RCMP received multiple calls of shots fired in the 2000-block of Tamarack Street and arrived to find a dead dog in a driveway and evidence of gun shots both inside and outside a home.
The suspect had fled the scene and the home's occupants were uncooperative.
But at 4:20 a.m., RCMP were called to a Cuddie Crescent home where ambulance personnel came across a 20-year-old man who had suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds that investigators believe were from the incident on Tamarack.
RCMP did not say if Campbell-Alexander is that man.
Both are known to the police and courts.
In December 2015, Campbell-Alexander was sentenced to a further eight months and three weeks in jail for a botched February 2015 home invasion in Blackburn. And in January, he was sentenced to 227 days in jail and ordered to pay $49.75 for robbing a liquor store.
Lorntsen's record includes convictions for possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and possessing a controlled substance.
