A 23-year-old Prince George man was arrested and police remained on the scene gathering evidence Wednesday morning following an armed holdup of a business on 20th Avenue near Vine Street.
Responding to a holdup alarm at 8:15 a.m., multiple Prince George RCMP officers converged on the scene and arrested the suspect a short time later.
"Initial indications were that a lone male entered the business with a blunt weapon and demanded cash before fleeing on a bike. No injuries reported," RCMP said.
The suspect's name was not released and charges remain pending.
