Second shooting suspect arrested

The second of two men suspected of carrying out a shooting at a local motel last week is in custody. Harley Raymond Poole, 28, was picked up on Friday after a warrant for his arrest was issued .

The second of two men suspected of carrying out a shooting at a local motel last week is in custody.

Harley Raymond Poole, 28, was picked up on Friday after a warrant for his arrest was issued.

Poole and Donald Justin Johnny Baker, 23, both face counts of attempted murder with a firearm, robbery with a firearm and intentionally reckless discharge of a firearm. Baker also faces one count each of discharging a firearm with intent to wound and possessing a firearm contrary to an order and three counts of breaching probation.

The charges are in connection with an alleged shooting at the Queensway Court Motel last Tuesday morning. One man was transported to hospital with an apparent gunshot wound was transported to hospital and is expected to survive.

Both remained in custody as of Monday morning.
