RCMP seeking two who broke up assault

Fort St. James RCMP are asking two people who helped ward off an attack on two youths in the community to step forward.

RCMP said they stepped in when the pair were assaulted behind the Petro Canada gas station on Highway 27 on Sun., June 14.

Not only did they prevent the victims from further injury but could also provide information to help further the investigation, RCMP said.

Three people have since been identified as suspects but no charges have been laid so far.

The two are asked to contact the detachment at 250 996-8269.
