Portion of Carney Street to be closed for a week

Part of Carney Street, between Winnipeg Street and Ellison Drive, will be closed for about a week starting Monday morning to allow city workers install a water main connection for the new fire hall, currently under construction.

Northbound motorists traveling on Massey Drive who usually turn west onto Carney Street will have to detour north via 17th Avenue, Spruce Street, and 15th Avenue.
