The holiday season is typcially the busiest time of the year for places like St. Vincent de Paul and members of the B.C. Emergency Health Services and Ambulance Paramedics of B.C. in Prince George made sure to do what they could to help as they stood outside the College Heights location of Save-On-Foods on Sunday collecting donated non-perishable food items as part of the Red and White Hunger Fight.

The 13th annual campaign saw the paramedics spend three days collecting food donations in front of Save-On-Foods locations in the city. Over the three days the group will have received enough donations to fill 300 boxes with food, and will have received around $2000 worth of Save-On-Foods gift cards, with everything being donated to the local St. Vincent de Paul to help fill their Christmas hampers and feed those in need over the holidays.
