The Prince George Citizen's Auction Mall items will be closing soon, with bids closing later today and the last date to bargain hunt being Sunday.
More than 450 goods and services are up for grabs during this spring event.
During the COVID-19 pandemic it's a good way to support local businesses and get a bargain at the same time.
All items have a reserve bid but it's set at 30 per cent of the list price so a savings of potentially 70 per cent is a great deal.
Items include restaurant gift certificates, home furnishings, gym memberships, personal care like hair, skin, nails and spa treatments, tools for the handyman, landscaping, local hotel rooms for a staycation and houseboat rentals for the whole extended family to enjoy.
Bidding is made easy and participants don't have to offer up credit card information until they win the item.
For convenience participants can enter their maximum bid into the system which will automatically counter any bid that's higher than your last. So even if you bid $50, the bidding could stop at $26 and as long as your bid is highest that's what you'll pay for the item.
There is also a five-minute rule if bidders want to wait until the last minute. Five minutes will be added to the clock with each additional bid and continue until the are no more bids.
