Autopsy confirms identity of Prince George woman found along Highway 16

BC RCMP’s Major Crime Unit has confirmed it was the remains of a Prince George woman that were found Sunday along Highway 16 east of the city.

BC RCMP’s Major Crime Unit has confirmed it was the remains of a Prince George woman that were found Sunday along Highway 16 east of the city.

An autopsy by the BC Coroners Service assisted in identifying 34-year-old Crystal Chambers as the person found 40 kilometres from Prince George.  

Police continue to investigate what happened to Chambers to learn of the events which led to her death. Anyone with information which might help the investigation is urged to call Prince George RCMP at 250-651-3300 or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
