Every time they take to the field, the Prince George Roga Contracting Knights elevate their play. The trend continued on the weekend.

The nine- and 10-year-old Knights finished in third place at a Canada Day baseball tournament in Kamloops. In the game for bronze on Sunday, they thumped Edmonton South 11-0. With that result, the P.G. boys finished the eight-team event with a 3-2 record.

"We saw these young players take many steps forward against some good teams, and teams that have many more games under their belt than we do at this point," said head coach Jason Schwing.
