The Prince George Sports Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations for its 2012 induction ceremony. Now 62 members strong, the Hall is asking the public to nominate an athletes, coaches, teams or builders who taken their homegrown athletic skills on to higher levels of competition on the national or international sports scene.

For a potential inductee to be considered that individual or team must be nominated from a member of the community. The closing date for nominations is Nov. 26. Nomination forms are available at www.pgsportshalloffame.org.

The P.G. Sports Hall of Fame opened in 1997.
