The dates for the preseason and regular season Western Hockey League schedules to be released was announced at the conclusion of the league's annual general meeting this week.
Fans can expect to see a preseason schedule for the 2012-13 season Thurs. June 21 with the 72-game regular season schedule released Wed. June 27.
Other decisions the WHL board of governor's made at the June 11-13 meeting in Vancouver, included reelecting Kelowna Rockets' Bruce Hamilton for another two-year term as chairman of the board.
It was also decided the WHL would launch a combine testing program for its prospects prior to the opening of the 2012-13 season, while the current conference playoff format will remain the same for the next two years.
The WHL schedule meetings are in Kelowna next week.
