Wells second overall at ski nationals

If it was up to Alix Wells, the President's Choice K2 alpine championships would be extended for another week. She was having such a good time on the slopes at Collingwood, she didn't want to leave Ontario.

After being crowned giant slalom national champion, the 14-year-old Prince George Alpine Ski Racers team member wrapped up the week-long competition with a third-place result in the slalom. Wells finished in the top-five in all four national races and placed second overall.
