There's still time to put a team together for the 4 on 4 No Floor Volleyball B.C. tournament
Aug. 23-24 outdoors at Citizen Field.
Teams can compete in one of three divisions - youth female (girls entering Grade 10 or younger), youth male (boys entering Grade 10 or younger) or open (mixed).
Squads may have a maximum of six players, while the open division must have two women on the grass at all times.
The youth female and male divisions will take to Citizen Field Aug. 23 and the adult division will follow on Aug. 24.

TRU WolfPack hold court
The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack volleyball squads from Kamloops are teaming up with the Prince George Youth Volleyball Club from Aug. 25-28 for a week-long camp at CNC and Duchess Park secondary.
Sessions for elementary students (Grades 5 to 7) are at CNC daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $200 per athlete.
Sessions for Grade 8 boys and girls are at Duchess Park from
5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The cost is $150 per athlete.
A junior girls session 1 (entering Grades 9 and 10) is at Duchess Park from 9:30 a.m. to noon. The cost is $150 per athlete.
The second junior girls session is at Duchess Park from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $150 per athlete.
Sessions for junior boys (entering Grades 9 and 10) are at CNC from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The cost is $150 per athlete.
Senior girls sessions (for those entering Grades 11 and 12) are at Duchess Park from 7 p.m. to
10 p.m. The cost is $150 per athlete.
The senior boys sessions (for those entering Grades 11 and 12) are at CNC from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The cost is $150 per athlete.
Athletes will receive expertise from TRU's coaches.
They include the WolfPack women's head coach Chad Grimm, who grew up in Quesnel and played Canadian Interuniversity Sport volleyball for the UBC Thunderbirds prior to taking his game to the professional level in Denmark and Belgium.
Nathan Bennett is TRU's men's and women's assistant coach and is a former University of Alberta Golden Bear who played professionally in Belgium, Cypress and Switzerland.
Colin Carson is a former WolfPack player from Prince George who played for the Duchess Park Condors. He's also a former Canadian Junior National team member who recently signed to play pro ball in Denmark.
They'll also be assisted by a contingent of WolfPack athletes from Prince George, including Jordan Foot (D.P. Todd) and Nic Balazs (D.P. Todd).

Tee time
In conjunction with the TRU WolfPack, the PGYVC hosts its second annual fundraiser golf tournament on Friday, Aug. 29 at the Prince George Golf and Curling Club.
The event is open to the public and teams of four can register to compete in a Texas Scramble format at 11 a.m.
The $95 per person entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, dinner and prizes.
Proceeds go to PGYVC athletes who are attending any college or university playing varsity volleyball (PGYVC portion) and PGYVC athletes playing volleyball at and attending TRU (TRU portion).
