It's almost time to tee it up for UNBC athletics.
The 13th annual Alumni Charity Golf Tournament is June 8 at Aberdeen Glen Golf Course. The format is a four-person Texas Scramble.
The fun will get going with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
The registration fee -- which covers 18 holes of golf, a power cart, lunch, dinner and a reception -- is $125 per person. A corporate foursome can play for $600.
Proceeds will support UNBC's student-athletes. The school's soccer and basketball teams will begin competition in the Canada West conference of Canadian Interuniversity Sport this fall.
To date, the tournament has raised more than $155,000.
