The Prince George under-15 Kodiaks boys team coached by Brad Stewart and Dave Holmes, opened with a 6-0 win over the Terrace Kermodes Thursday in Aldergrove.

The U-14 boys battled the second-seeded West Vancouver Spuraways to a 1-1 tie.

Meanwhile, in Richmond, site of the girls provincial B Cup, the Prince George U-18 girls tied Semiahmoo United 3-3.

In other results, the U-13 boys from Prince George lost 2-0 to the Comox Valley Vipers, and the U-14 girls suffered a 3-0 loss to the Dunbar Storm.

The U-18 boys earned a bye Thursday when their scheduled opponents withdrew from the tournament.

The U-13 Kodiak girls were shut out 1-0 by Comox United in their opening game in Richmond.
