It was a tough weekend for the Prince George Fortwood Homes tier 4 Rep. Cougars.
The team headed west on Highway 16 for a pair of exhibition games in Houston on Sunday, coming up short in both. In the first game, the Cougars received offence from Liam O'Beirne and Michael Rolfes in a 4-2 loss. Nicholas Husband handled the goaltending duties for Prince George.
In the second half of the doubleheader, O'Beirne staked the Cougars to a 1-0 advantage but Houston potted the next three goals on their way to a 6-4 triumph. Zach Swanson scored a pair for the Cougars while Evan Guillet had the other goal for Prince George. Josh Fielding took the loss in the Cougars' net.
The tier 4 Cougars are coached by Denny Astorino and managed by Neil Husband.
