Not enough players signed up.
So the Prince George Tennis Club had no choice but to cancel its Wood and White tournament, which was scheduled to run from Friday to Sunday.
The idea behind the name of the tournament was to have players dress in all-white and use wooden racquets.
The barbecue planned for this weekend will be moved to the Sept. 9-11 weekend when the club hosts its doubles finals tournament, the final event of the PGTC season.
